This big Tom cat is a SUPER LOVE BUG. He was dropped off at the Manassas Animal Shelter with a gaping wound on his neck. Apparently, an abscess had ruptured, causing a huge hole. After 14 days at the shelter, Romeo's time was up. None of the shelter staff had the heart to euthanize such a loving, friendly and affectionate cat so they made a request to Tree of Life to take him. We did and he is now in our care and receiving treatment for his abscess. WARNING. GRAPHIC IMAGE!!! To see a picture of how his neck is healing, click here.

Dr. Learman told us about Romeo. We may have a perfect home for a big cat that would love to hunt, eat and play outdoor "fun" toys. In addition, he will get 2 kids that will feed him and love him till he POPS. Needs to be dog friendly, want to take family walks, hunt mice, be lazy in the sun and sleep on the bed all day. Let us know if you think he may fit into our 20 acres of wonderland.

Hi there! I just saw this pic of Romeo and was wondering if he has been adopted? I live on the border of Woodbridge and Mannassas and my big lovey cat, Stormy, sneaked out of the house over a year ago and never returned. I looked high and low for him, but never found him. Romeo looks exactly like Stormy and sounds as if he has the same personality. If he has been adopted, WONDERFUL! I just thought that maybe, by some slim chance, this May have been my long lost Stormy (or Stormin' Norman, as I affectionately called him).
